Overview

The Erasmus Mundus EMABG Scholarship 2027 is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) programme focusing on Animal Biodiversity and Genomics. Co-funded by the European Union, this two-year Master's course is taught in English and requires study stays across multiple consortium universities in Europe. The curriculum provides interdisciplinary training in animal breeding, biodiversity, genetics, and related applied sciences.

The participating institutions include Wageningen University (Netherlands), the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (Austria), the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Sweden), Paris Agro Tech (France), Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Germany), and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Norway).

Eligibility

  • Open to applicants of all nationalities.
  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
  • Preferred background includes a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with at least 180 ECTS, or a degree in a different discipline providing a solid foundation in animal production, basic sciences, genetics, and statistics.
  • Demonstrate English language proficiency (e.g., TOEFL iBT of at least 92, IELTS Academic of at least 7, or accepted Cambridge C1/C2 scores no older than two years, unless exempt based on a degree from certain English-speaking countries).
