The Council’s Emerging Leaders Program offers an opportunity for exceptional professionals in Chicago to strengthen their leadership skills, deepen their understanding of U.S. foreign policy and global affairs, and join a long-term network of influential leaders.

Overview
The Emerging Leaders Program is a yearlong experience designed to connect global perspectives with local action for 20 of Chicago’s promising professionals. The program gathers leaders from diverse industries to exchange ideas, engage with complex global issues, and develop a broader understanding of international developments and their local implications.

Eligibility
- Must be based in Chicago.
- Must be established and exceptional in a professional field, generally between the ages of 30 and 45.
- Demonstrate strong professional achievement and an interest in global affairs and leadership.
