Overview
The Eindhoven University of Technology Excellence Scholarships 2027 supports highly talented international students aiming to shape the future of microchip technology in the Netherlands. Funded by the national Beethoven Program and coordinated by the TU/e International Office, this scheme recognizes academic merit and potential for top candidates applying to eligible Master’s programs.
Benefits
- Approximately 35 scholarships available in total, split between 20 for EEA students and 15 for non-EEA students.
- Financial contribution of €7,500 per academic year for two years, paid in monthly installments to a Dutch or SEPA bank account, subject to maintaining study progress requirements.

Eligibility
- Must have applied for an eligible full-time Master’s program or specific track at TU/e for the 2027-2028 academic year starting on 1 September 2027.
- Must meet the specific admission requirements of the chosen Master’s program and hold a non-Dutch high school diploma or university bachelor’s degree.
- Must have excellent academic results with a minimum GPA of 7.5 out of 10.
- Must not have completed prior higher education in the Netherlands and must meet Dutch entry visa and residence permit requirements where applicable.
- Excludes applicants for joint Master’s programs with Tilburg University (JADS) or European Double Degree programs.
