EBID Young Professionals Recruitment Programme 2026
The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development is inviting high-calibre young graduates from ECOWAS Member States and the diaspora to apply for its Young Professionals Recruitment Programme. Selected participants will serve under a two-year fixed-term contract based in Lomé, Togo.

Overview
The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) has launched its Young Professionals Recruitment Programme for 2026. Designed for high-calibre young graduates from the West African sub-region and the diaspora, the initiative appoints successful candidates as Young Trainee Professional Staff under a two-year fixed-term contract.
Participants rotate through different departments to familiarize themselves with the institution's activities, policies, and programmes under senior supervision. Following a six-month probationary period, satisfactory performance may lead to the appointment being converted into an open-ended permanent contract.

Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of an ECOWAS Member State (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, or Togo).
- Must be less than 30 years of age at the time of recruitment.
- Must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a field relevant to EBID's activities, such as Finance, Economics, Audit, Law, Engineering, IT, Human Resources, or Public/Private Sector Operations.
- Must possess strong analytical, organizational, research, and office automation skills.
- Must be fluent in English, French, or Portuguese, with a working knowledge of one of the other two languages.
How to Apply
Interested candidates who meet the requirements must submit a paper application dossier in a sealed envelope marked “2026 Young Professionals Recruitment Programme”.
The dossier must include:
- A detailed curriculum vitae.
- Copies of obtained academic qualifications.
- A copy of a national identity card or passport.
- A copy of a birth certificate.
- A motivation letter detailing participation reasons, competence areas, relevant experience, and career prospects.
