Overview
Duke University is inviting applications for a senior faculty position in Global Health Innovation and Policy at the Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI) in Durham, North Carolina, United States. The position is jointly conducted by the Duke Global Health Institute, Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy, and Duke Global Health Innovation Center. Duke is seeking an experienced professional with significant expertise in global health innovation, health policy, health financing, or closely related areas to strengthen research, policy, and leadership activities.
This is a full-time, non-tenure-track regular-rank appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level in either the research or practice track. The initial appointment is for three years, with reappointment possible at the conclusion of the term.
Eligibility
- Hold a doctoral or terminal degree in a relevant field, such as a PhD, ScD, DrPH, or MD.
- Demonstrate experience conducting quantitative or qualitative research related to global health innovation and policy.
- Possess experience or a credible pathway for translating work across multiple low-resource contexts globally, including low- and middle-income countries and low-resource settings in the United States.
- Maintain a significant record of extramural funding.
- Show a record of academic and non-academic publications, such as journal articles, op-eds, policy papers, open letters, and blogs.
- Demonstrate a history of engaging with policymakers and stakeholders.
