The Doria Feminist Fund (DFF) has opened its Grantmaking Cycle 7, offering flexible financial resources and long-term support to feminist movements, collectives, and organisations operating on the frontlines of social change in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The fund prioritises trust, solidarity, and community-driven decision-making, allowing grassroots movements to outline their work and priorities without rigid funding constraints.
Alongside financial grants, DFF provides an accompaniment programme that encompasses peer-to-peer learning, networking opportunities, strategic planning support, digital security training, and collective care initiatives. Applications can be submitted in Arabic, English, or French.
Eligibility
- Must be based in or working across the MENA region, covering eligible countries such as Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
- Open to both registered and unregistered feminist groups, collectives, and organisations.
- Individual applicants applying independently are not eligible; applicants must apply collectively.
- No age limit applies, and prior funding from DFF is not required.
- Particularly encourages new and emerging feminist groups, groups that have never received funding before, established groups launching new projects, women-led groups, and trans* groups and collectives.
