DAAD Young Ambassadors 2027 Applications Open: Represent Germany, Inspire Future Scholars, and Promote International Education
The German Academic Exchange Service invites former and current students and researchers with German academic experience to apply as DAAD Young Ambassadors for the 2027 cohort.

Overview
The DAAD Young Ambassadors Programme is an outreach initiative organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The initiative brings together former and current international students and researchers who have firsthand experience studying or conducting research in Germany to act as official representatives in their home countries.
Selected ambassadors use their personal experiences to educate prospective students about studying and conducting research in Germany through presentations, educational fairs, seminars, university events, and awareness activities.
Eligibility
- Be nationals of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, or Sri Lanka.
- Have studied or currently be studying or conducting research at a German institution.
- Be below 32 years of age as of 1 January 2027.
- Be enthusiastic about promoting Germany through educational presentations or events.
- Be willing and able to participate in the online Young Ambassadors Training Workshop scheduled for November 2026.
