Operating under the Czech Republic's Foreign Development Cooperation Programme, these scholarships support follow-up Master's and Doctoral studies at public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic, available in either Czech or English depending on the programme.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet specific nationality, academic, and language criteria to qualify:
- Eligible Countries: Nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus (democratic forces), Ethiopia, Gabon, Mauritania, Zambia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Palestine, Guatemala, and Honduras.
- Academic Requirements: Master's applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Doctoral applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent.
- Language and Tests: Applicants for English-medium studies must complete an online English language test. All applicants must complete the general study prerequisites test.
- Exclusions: Citizens of the Czech Republic, EU member states, and permanent residents of the Czech Republic are not eligible.

The scholarship supports the standard duration of full-time study and covers administrative and financial conditions as outlined in the official guidelines. For Czech-language pathways, it includes a one-year preparatory Czech language course followed by a two-year Master's degree. English-medium Master's programmes last approximately two years, and Doctoral programmes last between three and four years.
