The CRCA Emerging Conflict Analysts Fellowship 2026 is a 12-week online professional development programme designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical analytical skills. The curriculum focuses on African conflict and security contexts, helping participants build expertise in conflict analysis, early warning, risk assessment, conflict data, open-source intelligence (OSINT), intelligence analysis, forecasting, and professional analytical communication.
The programme runs from September to December 2026, with instruction delivered entirely online. The fellowship requires a time commitment of approximately 4 to 6 hours per week.

Prior formal training in intelligence or risk analysis is not required; motivation, analytical curiosity, and commitment are prioritized. Eligible individuals typically include African nationals, African residents, or those working substantively on African conflict contexts.
