Eligibility
The fellowship is intended for early-career researchers pursuing or holding a PhD who wish to work at the intersection of sustainability research and practical impact. Applicants must maintain their primary residence in Ithaca, New York, and spend the majority of their time on the Cornell campus for the duration of the appointment; fully remote or hybrid arrangements are not permitted.
How to Apply
Applicants must complete the online application form and upload a single PDF proposal packet containing their background, project description, impact statement, and curriculum vitae. Additionally, applicants must provide a 250-word project abstract, identify priority research areas, name a Cornell advisor and an external advisor, specify an external partner organization, and supply their PhD graduation date.
Four letters of recommendation are required from the proposed Cornell advisor, proposed external advisor, PhD advisor, and one additional recommender. Recommenders must submit their letters directly to [email protected] by the deadline.
