Overview
The Evidence for Climate Action (E4CA) Program connects high-quality scientific evidence with global climate policy discussions during COP31. The initiative seeks rigorous, published research providing practical lessons, policy recommendations, and measurable evidence to support climate action across diverse thematic areas. Selected submissions will contribute to virtual and in-person sessions held during COP31 in Türkiye.
Eligibility
The program specifically focuses on completed research that has already undergone publication or formal release. Eligible publications include peer-reviewed journal articles, published research reports, officially released evaluations, published analytical studies, and completed evidence-based reports.
Unpublished working papers, opinion articles, editorials, concept papers, research proposals, and theoretical essays without published evidence are not eligible. All submissions must be prepared in English only.

Applicants should complete the official submission form and prepare required submission materials including a title, abstract, extended abstract, and preferred thematic track(s).
Deadline
Applications must be submitted by 31 August 2026 (23:59 UTC−12). Late submissions may not be considered.
