Overview
The Constellation Institute Astra Fellowship – Strategy and Governance Stream is a fully funded, full-time program designed for talented researchers and professionals who want to work on critical strategy and governance questions surrounding advanced artificial intelligence. The program runs from September 2026 through February 2027, primarily at Constellation’s research center in Berkeley, California, with a secondary research hub available through the London Initiative for Safe AI (LISA) in the UK.

Eligibility

- The ability to independently set and pursue research agendas.
- Professional experience in public policy, empirical AI work, or related technical and institutional strategy fields.
- Strong communication skills and the capacity to work autonomously.
