Overview
The Consilium traineeship programme offers graduates an opportunity to gain firsthand insights into the operations of the European Union and contribute to the daily activities of the Council. Running twice a year, the upcoming traineeship period takes place from 1 February to 30 June 2027. Selected participants work across diverse areas such as policy, law, administration, communications, translation, and IT.
Eligibility
- Must hold EU citizenship with a valid passport or ID card.
- Must possess a bachelor's degree or higher by the application closing date.
- Must demonstrate very good knowledge of English or French and at least one other EU language.
- Must have no previous work experience at another EU institution.
Benefits
- Receive a monthly net grant of €1,538.16.
- Earn a travel allowance if recruited from a location more than 50 km from Brussels.
