Overview
The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) Mentoring Programme connects Commonwealth Scholars and Alumni to support knowledge and skills development, and provide practical tools to achieve development impact. The initiative runs for one year from December 2026 until December 2027, with all sessions taking place online.
Benefits
- For Mentees: Opportunity to learn from an experienced Commonwealth Alumnus, gain valuable insights, build professional connections, receive support in adapting to life and study in the UK, and develop professional confidence.
- For Mentors: Play a key role in shaping a new Scholar's journey, offer practical advice, enhance mentoring and leadership skills, and expand professional networks.
- Participants who complete the full mentoring cycle and the final feedback survey will receive a certificate confirming their participation.
Eligibility
- Mentees: 2026 Commonwealth Scholars studying in the UK and continuing PhD Scholars.
- Mentors: Commonwealth Alumni who have studied in the UK and have at least one year of post-Scholarship experience. Current Mentors may also apply to take part for another year.
