Eligibility

Must be a citizen, refugee, or British Protected Person of an eligible Commonwealth country.
Must hold permanent residency status in an eligible Commonwealth country.
Must be ready to begin your UK study program by September 2027.
Must possess a first degree with at least upper second-class (2:1) honors, or a lower second-class (2:2) alongside a relevant Master’s degree, by September 2027.
Must not be currently registered for an MPhil/PhD or PhD at either a UK or home country university before September or October 2026.
Must demonstrate financial need and be unable to afford UK studies independently.
There is no upper age limit for applying.
