ChangemakerXchange is seeking an experienced programme and project management professional for a hands-on Programme Lead role based in Berlin. The position focuses on delivering a global initiative supporting young changemakers working on responsible technology and AI.

Overview
ChangemakerXchange invites experienced programme and project management professionals to apply for the Programme Lead position. This hands-on role involves coordinating a global programme supporting young changemakers who build a fairer, more sustainable future for artificial intelligence and the digital world. The successful candidate will coordinate activities across four regional cohorts—Europe, MENA, the United States, and Asia Pacific—working directly with more than 50 changemakers, local hosts, facilitators, and corporate partners.
The position is based in Berlin, Germany, and is offered as a 12-month contract running through the end of October 2027 or one year from the start date. It is a full-time position (with a potential option for three to four days per week) offering a salary range of €45,000–€60,000 per year, a small central office in Berlin, and hybrid working flexibility.
Eligibility
- Significant experience in programme or project management, particularly managing multi-region or multi-stream programmes.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be based in Berlin or Germany (the recruitment timeline does not allow for relocation).
- Strong organizational skills, budget management capabilities, and familiarity with project management and digital tools.
- Experience with corporate partnerships, impact measurement, and responsible technology or AI is considered a strong advantage.
