Overview
The CDRI ASEAN Scholar Fellowship is a fully funded five-month research and collaboration programme located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Hosted by the Cambodia Development Resource Institute (CDRI), the initiative brings together outstanding mid- to senior-level researchers to strengthen regional partnerships, enhance quantitative research capacity, and promote evidence-based policymaking across Southeast Asia.

Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of an ASEAN Member State other than Cambodia.
- Must hold a PhD in fields such as economics, public policy, development studies, statistics, data science, or a related discipline (exceptional candidates with a Master's degree and at least five years of relevant research experience may also be considered).
- Must be affiliated with a university, think tank, or research institute within an ASEAN country.
- Must demonstrate a strong record of policy-related research, publications, and expertise in quantitative methods, econometrics, statistical software, or AI-assisted research.
- Must possess excellent written and spoken English proficiency and show commitment to Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles.
