Overview
The Caribbean Climate Leaders Fellowship is a professional development initiative established by the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC), with funding from the Caribbean Development Bank. The programme enables two young Caribbean professionals to attend UNFCCC COP31 in Antalya, Türkiye, as part of the CCCCC delegation. The fellowship provides comprehensive pre-conference preparation, official Blue Zone observer accreditation, conference participation, and post-conference knowledge-sharing activities across the region.

Eligibility
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Must be a national of a CARICOM Member State.
- Must be affiliated with or working alongside a Caribbean-based organisation (such as a youth group, non-governmental organisation, community-based group, private-sector firm, or public institution).
- Must currently be enrolled in tertiary education, employed, or actively involved with a relevant organisation focusing on climate change, sustainable development, or public engagement.
- Must demonstrate a strong interest in climate issues and must not currently serve as an official Party negotiator.
How to Apply
Applicants must prepare and submit the required application materials before the deadline. The submission package requires:
- A current Curriculum Vitae highlighting education, professional experience, volunteer involvement, and climate-related work.
- A written application of 1,200 to 1,500 words addressing professional development, institutional impact, and Caribbean climate literacy.
Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be invited to an interview with a CCCCC selection panel.
