Overview

The British Embassy in France is offering three full-time internship positions based in Paris. Successful candidates will gain practical experience in international affairs, diplomacy, public policy, communications, and UK-France relations by working alongside experienced professionals.

Internships are available across three distinct teams:

• Economics and Political Section (EPS): Focuses on bilateral and political affairs, economic and social policy, and European affairs.
• National Security and Foreign Policy Section (NSFP): Concentrates on foreign and development policy, migration, borders, and national security.
• Communications and Engagement Team: Supports public diplomacy, media relations, flagship events, and the Europe Regional Programme Fund.

Eligibility

Applicants must demonstrate excellent written and spoken French and English at a minimum C1 CEFR level.
Candidates must hold an independent right to live and work in France for the duration of the contract.
Applicants should have an interest in international environments, European or EU affairs, and politics.
Candidates are required to have an internship agreement, known as a "Convention de stage".
