Overview

The BIOPHAM Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is a fully funded Master's programme delivered by an international consortium coordinated by the University of Lille, alongside partner universities in Italy, Spain, Poland, and France. The programme offers specialised academic training in bio and pharmaceutical materials science across multiple European institutions.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold or be in the process of obtaining a first higher education degree in science (such as a Bachelor or Licence equivalent to 180 ECTS) at the time of application.
  • Eligible fields include Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Nanoscience, and Bioengineering.
  • Candidates must have a sufficient background in physics and mathematics, typically requiring at least 18 ECTS in each during undergraduate studies.
  • Proof of English proficiency at a B2 level or equivalent is required (such as an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no section below 5.5, TOEFL iBT total of 90, Duolingo score of 120, or PTE Academic score of 55).
  • Applicants already holding a master's degree may apply with a valid justification, while PhD students and holders are ineligible.

How to Apply

Candidates must submit their applications entirely in English via the official online submission system. All required documents, including the Curriculum Vitae, must be in English or accompanied by official translations. Only one application is permitted per candidate, and incomplete submissions will not be reviewed by the selection committee.
