The AWARD Leadership Scholarship is a nine-month, non-residential professional development program designed for early-career women researchers in agricultural sciences. Implemented by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) and funded by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation, the initiative aims to strengthen leadership capacity, communication, visibility, mentoring, and gender integration skills across targeted countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Eligibility
- Must be female
- Must be under 35 years old
- Must be working or engaged in agricultural sciences
- Must be a citizen or resident from one of the targeted countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, or Zambia
- Can be affiliated with governments, NGOs, universities, research centres, civil society, or the private sector
