The ATPP Scholarship is a national initiative coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Education in collaboration with the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), and accredited institutions nationwide. It provides a structured, accelerated pathway for in-service non-education teachers to gain professional certification and TRCN licensing while continuing to teach. The programme leads to a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) through a blended six-month format.

Eligibility
- Must be a non-professional teacher with a non-education degree currently teaching.
- Must hold an HND, ND, OND, or Bachelor’s degree with classroom experience.
- Must have a minimum of 24 months of teaching experience.
- Must be serving in public, non-state, ECCDE, primary, secondary, TVET, or community education settings.

- Pay the required programme fee of ₦200,000 per teacher.
