Overview
The Amano Fellows Program is a 9-month mentorship initiative designed to nurture young Tanzanian leaders who are actively working in conservation, sustainable development, and community leadership. Supported by WWF International in partnership with Amano, the program combines expert-led workshops, peer discussions, and individual mentor meetings to help participants expand their skills and enhance their ongoing community work.

Eligibility
- Must be a young Tanzanian leader aged between 21 and 30 years.
- Must have a proven record of making a meaningful, demonstrated impact in their community.
- Demonstrated commitment to values-based leadership and inclusive conservation initiatives.
- Fluent in English with the ability to participate actively in virtual activities.
- Must have reliable internet access and access to a laptop or mobile phone.
- Able to commit approximately 5 to 6 hours every month for program sessions over the nine-month period.
- Applications are especially encouraged from young leaders belonging to Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
How to Apply
Applicants must prepare their CV alongside written responses to four specific application questions within designated word limits:
- Why WWF Should Consider You: Maximum 100 words.
- Leadership Journey and Impact: Maximum 150 words detailing lasting community change.
- Values-Based Leadership: Maximum 150 words describing guiding principles and actions.
- Program Benefit: Maximum 250 words connecting goals to the mentorship opportunity.
