Overview
The Amani Pamoja Training Course on Advocacy and Dialogue Skills for Peace is an international capacity-building initiative designed for young peacebuilders. The programme brings together participants from East Africa and Europe to build competence in advocacy, dialogue, peacebuilding, and youth participation. The complete project consists of three online preparatory meetings held in October and November, followed by an in-person training mobility running from November 27 to December 3, 2026, in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona, Spain.

Eligibility
- Age Requirements: Applicants from participating European countries must be 18 to 29 years old; applicants from participating East African countries must be 18 to 35 years old.
- Residency: Must be legal residents of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Germany, Spain, or Italy.
- Organisational Involvement: Must be part of a youth-led and youth-focused group or organisation working on peace or related initiatives.
- Language: Ability to communicate in English at approximately a B2 level.
- Commitment: Must commit to attending all three preparatory online meetings and the physical training in Spain.

Interested candidates must complete and submit the official online application form before the designated regional deadline. Applicants requiring visas will receive supporting documentation such as invitation letters and hotel confirmations from the coordinating organisations.
Deadline
There are two separate application deadlines based on the applicant's region of residence:
- African Residents: August 16, 2026
- European Residents: September 16, 2026
