CorpsAfrica is seeking an experienced and strategic African Philanthropy Director to lead philanthropic revenue generation and fundraising capacity-building across its growing African network. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced nonprofit fundraising professional who understands African markets and has a strong track record in major donor cultivation, institutional grants, philanthropic strategy, and revenue generation.
The primary purpose of the role is to strengthen CorpsAfrica’s ability to generate philanthropic revenue across Africa and build the fundraising capacity of its country offices. The position is Africa-based, with remote or hybrid flexibility within countries where CorpsAfrica operates.
Eligibility
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, International Development, Executive Leadership, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred, or equivalent executive-level experience).
- At least 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit fundraising, major donor cultivation, institutional grant securing, or philanthropic strategy.
- Demonstrated experience working across African markets, securing major gifts, obtaining institutional grants, and securing multi-year funding commitments.
- Strong technical capabilities in enterprise CRM systems such as Salesforce, pipeline tracking, fundraising analytics, and revenue reporting.
- Strong communication, coaching, mentoring, and financial management skills.
- A genuine commitment to youth leadership, community-led development, and African philanthropy.
