African Development Bank Internship Program 2027 – Session 1 : Paid Internship Opportunities Across Africa
The African Development Bank is accepting applications for Session 1 of its 2027 Internship Program from eligible students and recent graduates of member countries. Successful candidates will participate in a three- to six-month internship starting in January 2027.

Overview
The African Development Bank (AfDB) Internship Program 2027 – Session 1 offers practical professional experience across the Bank's headquarters in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, as well as regional and country offices. Internships last between three and six months, with work arrangements structured as either remote or on-site depending on the hiring unit's needs. Participants receive a monthly stipend and medical insurance coverage provided by the Bank.
Eligibility
- Must be a national of an African Development Bank member country.
- Must be at least the age of majority in the country of nationality or origin and no more than 30 years old at the start of the program.
- Must be currently enrolled in a master's degree program or have obtained the degree within the past year.
- Must be fluent in English or French and proficient in standard office software.
- Note that dual nationality is not accepted by the Bank.
