Overview
The AfDB Internship provides students with an opportunity to acquire professional and practical experience at the African Development Bank. Selected candidates for Session 1 of the 2027 program will be deployed to Headquarters in Abidjan, regional and country offices, or work remotely depending on business needs.
Benefits
- Internships last between three (3) and six (6) months.
- Eligible interns receive a monthly stipend from the Bank.
- Medical insurance coverage is paid by the Bank during the internship period.
- The Bank assists interns with entry and residence visa acquisition.
Eligibility
- Must have attained the age of majority in your country of nationality and be no more than thirty (30) years old at the start of the program.
- Must be currently enrolled in a master's level degree program, or have graduated within one (1) year of obtaining such a degree.
- Must be nationals of member countries of the African Development Bank.
- Must provide a school confirmation letter or a copy of your degree.
- Must be fluent in at least one of the Bank's working languages (English or French).
- Must be able to use standard software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
