2027 NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP): Postdoctoral Fellowship in Astrophysics for International Scientists
The 2027 NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP) invites qualified postdoctoral scientists to conduct independent research contributing to NASA Astrophysics. Fellows may choose a U.S. host institution and receive support for up to three years.

Overview
The NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP) provides early-career scientists the opportunity to pursue independent research in astronomy, physics, and related disciplines. Administered by the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) on behalf of the NASA Astrophysics Division, the program anticipates awarding up to 24 fellowships for the 2027 cycle. Successful candidates will be designated as Einstein, Hubble, or Sagan Fellows depending on their research focus, which may be theoretical, observational, instrumental, or a combination of these approaches.
Fellowships are tenable at an approved U.S. host institution of the fellow's choice. The initial appointment is for one year and is eligible for two annual renewals, leading to a maximum duration of up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of NASA funding.
