Overview
The 2026–2027 Greening STEM Grant is an environmental education funding opportunity offered through the Environmental Education Initiative by Discovery Education, in partnership with the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) and LyondellBasell (LYB). The programme provides financial support for holistic STEM projects that focus on local environmental issues, citizen science, and student-directed investigations.
Each selected project will receive a $5,000 grant, with the programme anticipating $25,000 in total funding for the fall 2026 grant cycle to support five grants. Funded activities can include staff costs, travel, transportation, educational materials, measurement equipment, data analysis, and professional development.
