The 2026 Dwabo Small Grants Programme, launched by the Embassy of France in Ghana, represents the sixth edition of the initiative. It provides grants ranging from €8,000 to €10,000 for 12-month project implementation. The programme aims to support practical initiatives addressing barriers that prevent persons with disabilities from accessing education, skills development, employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include legally registered civil society organisations operating in Ghana, including those affiliated with established networks, regional or district-level presences, or working with local partners. Applicants must demonstrate experience in disability inclusion, economic empowerment, or related fields, alongside adequate organisational, technical, and financial capacities.
Benefits
Successful projects receive between €8,000 and €10,000 to implement initiatives over a 12-month period focused on economic empowerment, inclusive education, accessibility, community awareness, stigma reduction, and relevant partnerships.
How to Apply
Applicants must complete both hard-copy and electronic submissions before the deadline. The hard-copy application must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Embassy's security point in Cantonments, Accra. Electronic documents must be submitted through the France Transfert platform using the specified project email.
